I guess ISIS is finished now. They had a good run.
It seems like America is really getting blown right out of the Middle East these days.
Daaayuuum!
Russia has now absorbed Turkey, Iran and Syria into its sphere of influence… and now China is coming out and supporting this new geopolitical situation.
China, Russia and Iran have come together in a tripartite alliance supporting the Syrian government in the war against radical fundamentalist insurgents.
The clock is ticking for terrorists.
The main targets of this alliance are Islamic State and Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, formerly al-Qaeda’s affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra, and its partners.
Until last week Russia and Iran were the military mainstays of the overstretched and undermanned Syrian army.
Yes. Things are changing head-spinningly fast. Turkey has also announced they’re sending troops into Syria, allegedly to fight against ISIS. We’ll see.
China signalled it was prepared to join them by dispatching high-profile rear admiral Guan Youfei, head of Beijing’s office for international military co-operation, to Damascus to hold discussions with the Syrian defence minister Fahd Jassem al-Freij.
Wouldn’t it be weird if Chinese troops started fighting ISIS? I dunno.
China offered to train Syrian military personnel and provide humanitarian aid. While Chinese advisers are routinely deployed to teach Syrian soldiers how to use Chinese weapons, the proposal to have advisers on a regular basis amounts to direct engagement in the conflict on the government’s side.
Even if the aid China provides is useless in practice, their over support of the direction things are going will probably cement things into place, and set the stage for growth. In other words, it’s now much hard for NATO or the US to tell everyone to leave and set up puppet states in the middle east. And Russia’s sphere of influence will probably grow to include Iraq (once it’s liberated from ISIS) within the next year.
This could have a very positive impact on the Russian economy, which is dependent on oil prices. If the middle east is stabilized, and most of the oil producing nations are under the Kremlin’s protection and influence, then American (((financiers))) will no longer be able to attack the Russia economy by manipulating oil prices.
And you know the best part? It was all part of the plan.
