It was the EU that decided they wanted to ban normal cars. That wasn’t China’s idea. China has never supported any of this global warming gibberish, other than the extent to which the West offers to pay them to support it.
Furthermore, the EU is a globalist group, which spent decades pushing the concept of global free trade, often to the detriment of the population.
Now, the European globalists are forcing the people to buy electric cars because they say it will change the weather in 30 years, while also blocking people from purchasing the cars.
China does not approve of or accept the European Commission’s decision to impose extra tariffs on China-made electric vehicles (EVs), a spokesperson with the Ministry of Commerce said Wednesday.
China has repeatedly pointed out that the EU’s anti-subsidy investigation into Chinese EVs is irrational, fraught with numerous non-compliance issues, and is a protectionist move under the guise of “fair competition,” said the spokesperson in a statement released on the ministry’s website.
China has already appealed to the WTO’s dispute settlement mechanism over the issue, and will continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.

A “rules-based order” does not exist anywhere in the West. It’s most obvious when the US is calling Putin a “war criminal” while sending ten tonne bombs to Israel to use to kill innocent children. But the same thing is true about the supposed order of global free trade. The West made these rules, made all of these deals with the Chinese, then when they want to hurt the Chinese because they are too heterosexual, they start violating the treaties and doing protectionism.
