Clinton Campaign Manager Predicts Trump Win

Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, has warned supporters in a round robin email that Donald Trump will win the presidential election —and that Clinton’s  main Democratic rival Bernie Sanders is a serious threat to her campaign.

Robby-Mook

The email—reported by the Weekly Standard (which misspells Mook’s first name)—a notorious Jewish neocon publication which claims to be “conservative”—said that:

If Donald Trump takes the Republican nomination, our party will lose more than the presidency.

Years of progress will be ripped away. Obamacare will be repealed. Marriage equality will be rolled back. Get excited to visit the wall on the Mexico border—and get ready to pay for it if President Trump can’t magically get Mexico to cough up the cash for it.

The editor of the Weekly Standard’s online edition is the notorious Jewish neocon Daniel Halper, who is also a “visiting fellow” at the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs in Washington DC. He is also author of a book titled Clinton, Inc.: The Audacious Rebuilding of a Political Machine, which is a highly critical study of the Clinton family.

Halper’s motivations in publicizing the Mook email—sent to him as a registered supporter—are therefore dubious. Halper is not likely to be sympathetic to Clinton, whom the neocons correctly see as a successor to Obama, and is likely to be a supporter of the hardline pro-Israel policies spouted by Republicans—and to an increasingly lesser degree by Trump.

It is also possible that Halper has deliberately edited his version of the Mook email to make it appear as if all that Trump has to do to win the presidency is just get nominated by the Republican party—or it is possible that Mook worded the email badly allowing for such an interpretation.

Whatever the case, the rest of Mook’s begging email seems to suggest that Trump will win if Sanders wins the Democratic nomination, explaining the threat to Clinton’s campaign:

Late last night, Bernie Sanders’ campaign announced they’d raised $1.4 million from 50,000 donations in a single day. The day before, they announced that the Reddit community had contributed more than $1 million to his campaign.

There’s no denying this: His supporters are stepping up. They see a chance to win in Iowa and they’re willing to go all in for their guy. Hillary can’t do this if you’re on the sidelines. You need to step up and match them.

That’s what’s at stake here. It’s about the future of our country. We can’t let Bernie Sanders’ supporters out-match us. It’s not just about the nomination. It’s about what comes next.

Hillary’s counting on you. Chip in $1 before the Iowa caucuses on Monday.

Mook’s fears are not unfounded, at least with regard to the threat posed by Sanders, a self-proclaimed “democratic socialist.” According to a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist survey conducted among Iowa caucus-goers shows Clinton with 48 percent support and Sanders at 45 percent—a lead within the poll’s margin of error of 4.7 percent.

In New Hampshire, where the second primary is to be held, Sanders has put a wide margin between himself and Clinton. When the poll was conducted in early January, Sanders had a four-point lead over his rival, 50 percent to 46 percent. Now the Vermont senator has pulled ahead to a 20-point advantage over Clinton, 57 percent to 38 percent.

It is only in South Carolina, the fourth primary to be held, that Clinton leads over Sanders, mainly because of her strong support among blacks. According to the poll, 74 percent of blacks back Clinton, compared to the 17 percent that support Sanders.

Of the twenty-five people who signed the PNAC’s founding statement of principles, ten went on to serve in the administration of US President George W. Bush, and were instrumental in preparing the illegal attack on the Saddam Hussein government in Iraq.
