I’m not sure that this won’t be sort of funny.
I’ve watched Alec Baldwin’s Trump, and really done my best to separate from the politics of it – something I’m very good at – and just watch it on merit and I just don’t think it’s funny.
This guy, Anthony Atamanuik, played him in a Fusion special that really sucked.
But he appears to have maybe gotten better at it?
If Comedy Central doesn’t make it a nasty hate show, and instead makes it endearing to conservatives (in the way Steven Colbert was endearing to conservatives on his troll show), maybe they’ll literally use Trump to save their failing network.
They are failing real bad. They hired that affirmative action nog to do the Daily Show, and basically every other original series they’ve tried in the last half decade has failed miserably. It’s basically the South Park channel. And with South Park only doing ten shows a year, they are in very bad shape.
