Convicted Black Felon Arrested for Fatal Shooting of White Cab Driver

Michael Bemus of Austell was found shot dead in the driver’s seat of his cab.

Police have arrested a man in the fatal shooting of a 65-year-old taxi cab driver.

Justin Marquis Graves, 34, of Marietta, was arrested by the Marietta Police Department in connection with the shooting, which occurred early Thursday morning, according to a news release.

Officers were called shortly before 3 a.m. to the Allround Suites in the 2200 block of Northwest Parkway on a report of an unresponsive driver, Officer Brittany Wallace said. The cab driver was dead in the driver’s seat from a gunshot wound, she said.

Thursday afternoon, the cab driver was identified as Michael Bemus of Austell.
