Clearly Santa has always been a black man. Don’t be racist Goy.
Santa Claus was modelled off Saint Nicholas, and Saint Nicholas was not a Negro.
This should be enough for people to realize that Santa Claus is in fact not black, never was black and should never be black.
The 1823 poem ‘A Visit’ (a.k.a The Night Before Christmas) appears to be the first piece of literature that moulded and gave character to the westernized Santa we are all familiar with.
‘A Visit’ was penned by Clement Clarke Moore (son of Reverend Benjamin Moore) who was not a Negro.
It’s disputed that Henry Livingston Jr was possibly the author of that poem, and not Clement Moore. But Livingston is also not a Negro.
In 1931, Dutch artist Haddon Sundblom drew Santa for Coca Cola. This is what shaped and created the visuals for the Santa we have today. And you can be sure that Haddon Sundblom was not a Negro.
You know who was a Negro? Santa’s slave, Zwarte Piet.
Because the Dutch know what’s up
So my question is, why would anybody think it’s ok to hire a black man to play a character that’s clearly white?
A Minnesota mall’s decision to hire its first-ever black Santa has resulted in an appalling racist backlash.
This week Mall of America announced that it had hired professional Father Christmas Larry Jefferson to bring gifts and good cheer to the children of Bloomington and the surrounding area.
Speaking to WCCO on Wednesday, Jefferson said that his four-day run at the appointment-only Santa Experience was ‘no big deal’, explaining: ‘I’m still Santa, I just happen to be a Santa of Color‘.
‘Santa is still just Santa. Kids are very innocent, they just love Santa,’ added the former army vet, who has been a professional Santa for 17 years.
‘Mommy, why is Zwarte Piet dressed as Santa?’
As long as the Porch Monkey thinks Santa can be Black and it isn’t that big of a deal, then it’s all good.
And a poster under the name Laquisha Reynolds made a series of vicious remarks, referring to Jefferson’s hiring as ‘an atrocity’ and claiming that ‘blacks [ate] each other in Africa’.
She also said that if Martin Luther King Jr were to be played by a white man ‘blacks would try to kill him‘.
Other comments, worse than these, made repeated use of the N-word and equally appalling slurs. The Star Tribune shut down its comments on the page about Jefferson, according to an editor there. The writer of the article later said ‘We routinely turn off comments on articles involving racial issues’.
(I’m sure they turn off the comments when black people claim to be victims.)
A Caucasian should play Martin Luther King Jr.
Remember- the white guy pretending to be Martin Luther King Jr is still just Martin Luther King Jr., he just happens to the Martin Luther King Jr. that’s white.
If a black man must play Santa, then at least do it properly.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Dindu soon would be there.
If you have to ask yourself ‘is Santa really white?’ chances are it’s because he’s white.
And why are niglets so racist that they can’t take presents off a white man? Why does he need to look like them?
I wish black people invented something of value so that I could use it as an example of why’d there’d be backlash if we talked like this about one of their pieces of history
What’s next? Are immigrants going to cry that Befana being an old Italian white woman intimidates them and they need her to be Muslim?
Obviously I’m just being racist because if anything white people have had very little to do with Christmas, and it’s really black people who should be claiming it as part of their culture.
Their contributions to Christmas is widely documented and is proof as to why Santa should be and really is black:
St Tyrone, imagined by artist DeShawn LaPrell
‘Nutcracka In Da Hood’, score by Jamal Dekekisha
Laquisha and La’Kisha Dacron celebrating Christmas, circa 1900
Christmas Carols like ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ and ‘Angels We Have Heard On High’ were composed by the celebrated musician, La’Quishria Trevon
So yeah.
Caucasians invented Santa. It’s white culture, it’s not up for debate and you’re lucky we let non-whites take part in the celebration at all.
