Daily Mail Publishes Accurate Nazi-Like Cartoon Depicting “Migrants” as Rats

Thankfully, The Daily Mail has published an accurate cartoon depicting the invading hordes as rats.

People are comparing it to a 1939 Nazi cartoon Das Kleine Blatt depicting Jews trying to get in countries as rats.

Probably, depicting Jews as rats is more accurate. Indeed, this was a metaphor used regularly by the NSDAP, including in the documentary film The Eternal Jew (Der Ewige Jude).

Rats are an invasive parasite, and I think the metaphor can be extended to Moslem migrants easily enough. However, they are more invasive than Jews in that they actually get in your face rather than control things out of sight. Rats are also generally out of sight, unless you see them scurrying through the alley at night like a Jew.

The best metaphor for the migrant invasion remains The Walking Dead.

However, I am glad that a mainstream paper such as the Mail is comparing them to rats, as this is not inaccurate, necessarily, and dehumanizing them is positive even if the metaphor is a bit off.
