Daily Stormer Report: How Many Fingers Am I Holding Up?

GLORIOUS UPDATE (2:33 EST): I appear to have solved the caching issue. When I was meditating, an extraterrestrial being from Hindu mythology told me to change the CSS caching settings in the .htaccess file.  It seems that some of the browsers were able to figure out the site’s CSS and some were not.  So, a full cache-clearing should make the site work on everyone’s browsers and devices.

This one here.
This one here.  He was all like “bro are you retard? Check the .htaccess file, faggat.”

Here’s a pretty extensive guide to clearing the cache on all types of browsers.

The problem is that most people won’t see this message and know to clear their cache unless they are doing hard refreshes.  So a whole bunch of people are seeing the wrong front page right now, and I don’t know how long that is going to last (could be weeks before their browser decides it needs to check in on the CSS for updates.

So, if you know any place off of this site where readers of this site might be, try and spread the word.  Reddit, forums, FB, Twitter, etc.  The site just isn’t as much fun without the whole gang.

And if you see any Hindu space beings during your next meditation or acid trip, be sure to thank them for solving this issue for us!

Me, today.
Me, today.

Okay, so the site runs again. Qualifications: for now and I think.

If you are seeing this, please post a comment and tell me three things:

1. “Yes, I am seeing this”

2. Your browser and operating system (e.g. Chrome/Windows, Firefox/Android, etc.)

3. If you are doing anything special in order to see this (going into private browsing mode, constantly refreshing the page, etc.)

Also include any other information you think may be relevant.

You can also, if you wish, give your feelings on the layout changes I’ve made.

The Situation

The current status of the situation is that I paid someone to do some database work, they found that part of the problem was the site’s layout, which I went in and fixed myself.  I think it looks better than it did before, and the site was due for a revamp, so I feel good about that.

I order a book on Computer Science III, but instead they sent me the Common Core guide to posting on 4chan.

There are still apparently issues, but I am going to wait to deal with those when I move the site.

One of those issues may be a caching issue.  Or it could be that the changes to the site are causing the caching issue.  For the completely technically uninclined, that means a “cache” – an old version of the page – is showing up instead of the current version.  Based on my testing, this old version can stay up for days, hours, or the site can load immediately and properly every time, depending on what browser you are using on which device.

Right now, I’ve been getting good reports, but am still personally having issues on my phone.  It also appears, based on the number of comments on today’s updates, that others are having similar issues.  But it may just be that people aren’t checking the site because they think it’s still down.

Future Pledge

In the future, I hope to eliminate articles about technical issues completely.  At first it was quaint, like “hey, look at me, I’m running this political site voluntaraily, have no staff or income and Jews keep shutting me down!” but this has gotten old, and I think the site is now to a size where it is also unprofessional.

Thanks to All Who Contributed to Our Cause

From the bottom of my heart.
From the bottom of my heart.

Thank you to all who took the time to figure out Bitcoin.  You put us at nearly to half of what we need for the new server, and I know some of you are still figuring it out and some are putting cash in the mail.

Further contributions are still needed, see details of how to help here.

I apologize that I haven’t been able to thank anyone personally by email for Bitcoin donations, as there isn’t an email address associated when I get “you received such and such a bitcoin.”  If you’re worried I didn’t get it (as long as you cut and paste the address right I do get it), shoot me an email with the date and the amount and I’ll confirm it for you, and thank you personally.

And I just want to say that despite my anti-feminist rhetoric, the biggest bit-donor so far has been a woman, which goes a long way to prove that I am not in any way anti-woman and that the only people perceiving my message this way are feminist hoaxsters and Jewish rat trolls.  By being pro-man, I can only also be pro-woman as women need men, especially when they are under invasion by a hostile foreign entity (multiple foreign entities, to be clear).

So, the deal is we are still on the old server until next weekend, at which point there will be some downtime again, but hopefully for less than a day.  By the way, when the move happens, I’m going to post the name of the server which was costing all this money, as well as the bills I paid for it.

If for any reason you want more details on all of this nonsense, see our earlier post here.

Anyway, it’s good to be back writing again.  It was killing me being offline.  You do the same thing every day for going on three years, you start to feel a bit mad stopping for even a day, let alone almost five days.

From here on in, it’s more serious business.  It’s going to be a great summer, with even more of what you’ve come to know and love about the Daily Stormer!
