A man who threw his semen at women in a vile campaign lasting more than 40 years has been jailed. Michael Morris, 59, stalked his victims in supermarkets, shopping centres and buses before tossing his sperm at them. He claimed he could not explain his behaviour before he was jailed for three to six years.
‘I can only speculate that the first woman was a representation of someone who represented a negative authority figure,’ he said. ‘I am extremely sorry if I upset or caused any type of anguish.’ Morris tossed his fluid over a woman at Valley Farm Market in Bethlehem, Judge Robert Steinberg, who said Morris had been committing his crimes for more than 40 years, told him: ‘Frankly, this sentence is long overdue. This is so bizarre and so perverted.’
‘I don’t think in all my years of doing this I’ve ever seen this type of behaviour.’
In his vile campaign, Morris, from Allentown, Pennsylvania, US, would fill a bottle with semen and squirt it over women.
Morris, who will be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life, pleaded no contest at a previous hearing to three counts of indecent assault, The Morning Call reports.
He was arrested in February 2016 at his therapist’s office shortly after police said he sprayed semen on a shopper’s bottom at Valley Farm grocery store in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His DNA linked him to the incident and two similar crimes in Lehigh County. Morris’ offences were not considered a sex crime until 2006, when a new ‘seminal fluid’ law was introduced.
