We haven’t had these type of infrastructure problems in decades. But all of our systems are being handed over to brown people, and everything is falling apart.
An Amtrak train derailed and collided into another train at Penn Station during the Friday morning rush hour.
About 250 passengers were aboard the Acela Express 2151 train headed to Washington DC when it derailed and sideswiped an incoming NJ Transit train at 9am on Friday.
Three minor injuries were reported, the New York City’s Office of Emergency Management said.
An outgoing Acela Express 2151 train from Boston to Washington DC had just started pulling out of Penn Station when it ‘had a minor derailment while moving at a slow speed,’ Amtrak said.
It hit an incoming NJ Transit train on the Montclair/Bontoon line and sideswiped it.
‘The rear of the [Acela] train was still on the platform, and all 248 passengers have exited the train onto the platform and into the station safely,’ Amtrak said in a statement.
Passengers on the NJ Transit train were also evacuated once it made it to the platform, Amtrak said.
Jennifer Hutzel, who was on the NJ Transit train at the time of the collision, told 1010 WINS: ‘We were just pulling into the station, not going very fast and I guess another train that was leaving hit us really hard and it basically sideswiped us.’
Another passenger Jordan Geary said the crash ‘blew my window out and into me’.
Three minor injuries were reported. The Emergency Medical Services teams said no one had been transported to hospitals at 10 am, according to a spokesperson for the New York City Fire Department.
I guarantee that brown people, whether operators or mechanics or whatever, are to blame for this.
This is a minor accident in terms of damage, but in terms of fault, it is a disaster. It takes a lot of screwing up for something like this to happen.
All of our systems are going to begin to break down like this as brown people take over.
Get ready for that.
