Yesterday, Don Lemon, a Colored Gentleman who I have labeled only one of two genuine Magic Negroes known to be alive on planet earth (the other being the Black guy from the Matrix), went full Zulu attacking Donald Trump, arguing with a pundit regarding Trump’s alleged call for the assassination of Hillary Clinton.
I wish the pundits defending Trump would just explain what he actually meant.
The Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights so that in the event that the government became oppressive, the people could stage a coup.
That is in no way controversial.
Go to the Wikipedia article on the Second Amendment and ctrl+f “tyrann” (so that you get both “tyranny and “tyrannical”).
Both the Founding Fathers and other early American legal philosophers explained this in great detail.
Trump was not saying “you can kill Hillary and/or her judges”; he was being true to the Constitution, and telling people that if Hillary attempts to take away our basic rights, we are morally obligated to resist. In fact, we are legally obliged to resist, based on the legal system laid down by our Founding Fathers.
