The Lexington Police Department has issued arrest warrants for 5 people in connection to a fatal shooting on University Drive that occurred on January 9th.
Police say they are looking for 21-year-old Kenyon J. Hipps (above left,) 18-year-old Marcus L. Smith (above right,) as well as three juveniles, two of which are already in custody.
Officers say they were called to University Drive around 3:00 a.m. on a report that shots had been fired. When they arrived, police say they found two men with gunshot wounds inside a car. Both men were taken to University of Kentucky Hospital. Later, one of the men, Caleb Hallett, died.
