Pace University student Jered Harvey ended up on the tracks after trying to save a woman from a stray Black.

A drunken vagrant who hurled a Pace University student onto subway tracks because the victim tried to stop the man from beating a woman took a plea deal Wednesday in a Manhattan court.

Rayfield Grant, 30, pleaded guilty to attempted assault in exchange for eight years in prison.

He faced as much as 15 years behind bars if he had been convicted of attempted murder — the top charge against him.
