Barbara Boxer – who is retiring – just dropped legislation to end the electoral college.
She is just doing this to whine and create confusion among the goyim, because she’s a filthy Jew.
This is retarded for a number of reasons, the main reason being that both Trump and Hillary campaigned with knowledge that the electoral college exists. If the electoral college didn’t exist, Trump would have campaigned differently and presumably won.
This “oh but it’s not fair tho” is just complete nonsense.
Retiring Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) filed legislation Tuesday to abolish the Electoral College in light of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton winning the popular vote but still losing the election.
Such legislation makes a statement after an election that shocked Democrats, but is unlikely to gain traction with Republicans holding control of both chambers of Congress in a lame duck session.
Her bill calls for an amendment to the Constitution that would end the Electoral College system. Should such a thing pass, the amendment would only take effect if ratified by three-fourths of the states within seven years after its passage in the U.S. Congress.
Clinton leads President-elect Donald Trump by nearly 800,000 votes nationally with a final count still pending, but Trump won the most electors in the electoral college system that is how the country actually picks its president.
Boxer was a vocal advocate for Clinton throughout the campaign and had said that electing the first female president was on her to-do list before leaving the Senate in January.
Maybe the electoral college needs done away with. Who knows. Obviously, pretty well everything has been federalized, but there are still massive social and cultural differences between regions and localities, so there is reason to continue to support this system.
But it doesn’t really even matter. Candidates know the system exists and campaign based on it, with the help of teams of professional advisors, some of whom have spent their lives studying the way this system works.
Again, in a straight-up one person, one vote system, the campaigns of both candidates would have been very different with regards to advertisement, volunteer centers, campaign stops and even talking points.
These Clinton shills whining that its unfair Trump won by winning the elector college would be like a basketball team whining because the other team won by shooting three pointers – “all goals should be worth the same amount!!!”
Oh and by the way, when it was predicted that Clinton was going to win, they said she would lose the popular vote. On election night, all of the networks were saying “whoever wins the electoral college is going to lose the popular vote.” That was a main point of pre-election analysis.
And of course there’s also the fact that both the Project Veritas videos and the Podesta emails showed Clinton operatives planning large scale voter fraud. Before the election, Obama directed illegal immigrants to vote.
Combined, bussing and illegal immigrant voting certainly covered the 0.8% Trump allegedly lost the popular vote by, and probably went up to 3% – meaning Trump probably wont the popular vote by 2%.
