Farage: Community Integrity is More Important Than Alleged Economic Benefits of Immigration

Here Nigel Farage, appearing with Andrew Marr, puts the integrity of British communities above the alleged benefits to the GDP offered by mass immigration.

I have a hard time believing that mass immigration does benefit the economy (if GDP is taken to be the economy, which I suppose it isn’t), but if it does it is completely irrelevant.  The quality of our lives cannot be measured in dollars and cents (pounds and pence), but they can be measured by how safe and comfortable we feel in our own communities, which can in turn be measured by how many aliens reside amongst us.

Nigel Farage is a populist.

I’m not sure when the interview took place, I believe it is a couple months old.
