Welcome to Fashwave Friday – it’s back with a vengeance!

This week we will be exploring two types of retrowave: the Dystopian and Utopian aesthetics – or, the Dark and the Light, complimenting each other in the eternal cycle of life.

It is Cronenberg vs. Hughes, locked in eternal struggle for the soul of man.

Notice their similarities yet differences, pay attention to the conceptual ambiance of the tracks and how wonderfully each artist is able to contextualize and recontexturiailize each track.
