Okay, so I’m obviously dialed into the Trump thing right now. But the page has to be filled up with something.
Because that’s what we do. We’re the Daily Stormer. It’s who we are. Our values demand that people get a full page of news stories every day, even if I am thinking only about one news story.
Anyway, this is not a minor thing. These are extraordinary claims, and they actually make sense.
RT:
Ukraine’s top commander Aleksandr Syrsky is ready to lay down arms and capitulate to Russia, a lawmaker from Vladimir Zelensky’s party has claimed.
Syrsky was appointed Ukraine’s highest-ranking general in early February, replacing Valery Zaluzhny, who oversaw last year’s failed attempt to push back Russian forces. According to MP Mariana Bezuglaya from Zelensky’s ‘Servant of the People’ party, the two are secretly colluding to prevent a Ukrainian victory.
Bezuglaya, who is also deputy chair of the National Security, Defense and Intelligence Committee, laid out her case for a top-level military conspiracy in a lengthy post on Facebook on Saturday.
She claimed that Syrsky and Zaluzhny both belong to a “generals’ mafia” protecting their privileges from a younger generation of military leaders, whom Bezuglaya believes to be more competent and innovative, and thus capable of defeating Russia.
”Every further day that Syrsky remains in his position reduces our fighting capability and kills people,” the lawmaker declared, urging Zelensky to intervene and fire Syrsky.
She cited unspecified sources as saying that Syrky and his inner circle favor a ceasefire with Russia and an eventual capitulation.
”He doesn’t believe in victory and earnestly thinks that we cannot get an edge over the Russians on our own land,” the member of parliament added.
I’m not going to go into the details of why, but it’s always been my impression that the Kremlin and probably both Lavrov and Putin himself view the ideal situation for the Ukraine as a military coup with Zaluzhny becoming military dictator of the remainder of the Ukraine and being the one to negotiate peace.
It was definitely rumored when Zaluzhny was fired by Zelensky that he was planning something like this.
Then came the rumors that Syrsky was actually working with Zaluzhny, which is what this wild bitch MP is citing. That seems plausible.
One thing is definitely true: the men actually fighting this war are aware that it is unwinnable, and they are presumably very tired of Zelensky sending boys (mostly men at this point, actually) to die for no reason. I assume, like all military men, they also believe they can run the country better than politicians (which is basically always true).
Serious military men do not glorify mass death. People like Zelensky and Lindsey Graham do that.
The problem that Zelensky has is that the military itself is loyal to Zaluzhny and presumably also to Syrsky, and if these men called the Russians and said “hold your fire, we’re marching on Kiev and we’ll be in touch when we’ve taken the city,” the Russians would hold their fire, and Zaluzhny and Syrsky could relatively easily stage a coup and then call Putin with terms of surrender.
Who knows how likely that outcome is.
But the fact that some bitch went nuts and posted this theory publicly means that a lot of people in the civilian government are talking about it. It’s extremely unlikely she came up with the idea herself.
She most likely wasn’t supposed to say this publicly, as it lets the military leadership know that the civilian government could be planning on moving against them, which is going to cause them to bolster defenses and maybe even make a move.
Here’s what’s clear: it feels like this war has been going on forever, but it cannot literally go on forever, and when it ends, it’s going to end in a very weird way.
I personally doubt there is a single soldier who is more loyal to the Kiev Zelensky Junta than they are to Zaluzhny, and I think it’s pretty obvious that if Zaluzhny ordered the military to turn around and march on Kiev, no one in the military would ask any questions about it.
