Female Jogger Raped and Robbed at Gunpoint by Blacks

People who use Terry Hershey Park are being urged to make sure they walk, jog or bike with a friend and always carry a cell phone programmed with emergency numbers.

Houston police are investigating a report of a female jogger being sexually assaulted and robbed at gunpoint Friday morning.

The alleged incident happened at Terry Hershey Park located on N. Eldridge Parkway in west Houston.

The woman says she was followed into the park’s bathroom and attacked by two men.

After the men left,  the woman ran to a nearby coffee shop and she called police and her husband.

Harris County Precinct 5 deputy constables also responded to the scene to help with the investigation.

Police have not released very many details about the case, but a neighborhood association has issued a warning to residents.
