Fifteen Years for Black Friend Who Strangled White Woman to Death

Tina Bond was killed in the Black’s apartment.

A Cincinnati man charged in an Avondale homicide was sentenced on Tuesday.

In January Mark Chambers, 53, admitted to strangling Tina Bond to death.

A police report indicated the slaying happened in Chambers’ apartment. Police identified Chambers as a friend of Bond’s.

He was sentenced to 15 years.
