Stuart Stevens, who ran the failed campaign of Mitt Romney, appeared on Fox with Megyn [sic] Kelly last night to attack Glorious Leader.
He was asked if Mitt’s recent bizarre attack on Trump was signaling that he’s ready to enter the race. Stevens denied that this is a possibility (but of course he would).
He was then asked whether or not the GOP, after getting utterly demolished by Trump, would create a third party to run against Trump and ensure Hillary wins.
He said: “I think there’ll absolutely be a third party run, and I think it’s essential that there is a third party run … You have to have a conservative alternative, if Donald Trump is the nominee, there won’t be for the first time in our lifetime. And the party has to stand for something other than election, or it stands for nothing. So I think without a doubt there will be a strong third party run of a conservative candidate.”
That an insider like this is openly saying “yeah we’ll lose on purpose because of principles and the Constitution” shows once again what a sick hoax the “conservative” movement is.
It seems very unlikely that they won’t do it, because they don’t have any choice. They have to shut down The Donald or their goose is cooked.
