Florida, hit by the same hurricane, required 11 hours to get the power back on.
But the Puerto Ricans… it took them that many months. Because Donald Trump refused to give them infinity money, instead giving them only 15% of infinity money.
Yes, it was a hurricane of money.
A perfect storm of dollars.
But this was no perfect storm.
It was tainted with pure hatred.
But it simply wasn’t enough, when one considers the compound interest of thousands of years of brutal oppression.
The people shall be free.
Power has been restored to all of Puerto Rico for the first time since Hurricane Maria struck nearly 11 months ago, officials said Tuesday.
The island’s electric utility announced that crews working in the southern city of Ponce reconnected the last neighborhood that had been offline since the Sept. 20 storm knocked out the U.S. territory’s power grid.
Ponce resident Charlie Colon Nazario told El Nuevo Dia that he was looking forward to no longer having to use a generator to light his house.
“No more lamps, no more candles, no more extension cords,” he said as about two dozen power workers completed the connection to his home.
Freedom.
Some day, the people will have true freedom.
The next step: they must gain independence from the brutal colonizers of the United States.
They must once again become an independent nation.
If it was not for the oppression they suffered under the white supremacist Donald Trump, it would only have take 7 or maybe 9 months to restore electricity.
We need to free these people.
Colonialism is over, bud.
It’s time for Puerto Rican independence.
