The new anti-establishment meme, popularized by one Mr. Vladimir Putin, is to record people’s conversations and post them on the internet. It is especially fantastic as it not only serves the political agenda of the people, but also entertains them.
Yesterday, we reported on Kasidiaris’ tape of the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff admitting that the persecution of the Golden Dawn was a political witch-hunt.
Golden Dawn International Newsroom has provided the following transcript:

Kasidiaris: When at first l came out (released before the arrest of the General Secretary), what happened to Samaras, can you tell me?

Kasidiaris: Go to the District Attorney and testify on who set this trap: That Athanasiou gave the order to Goutzamani, that Samaras also gave the order to Athanasiou, and all of them will go to trial. If you are a person of justice, you have to do this.
Mpaltakos: If l do that now, he will initiate a quick investigation a half hour long and then he will archive it.
Kasidiaris: You think so?
Mpaltakos: Of course! Am I going to do with the Samara government in power? At what District Attorney will I go? Goutzamani herself is the Prosecutor General. Will l report Goutzamani to herself?
Kasidiaris: How did she become Prosecutor General of the Supreme Court?

Kasidiaris will likely be charged with a crime for secretly recording this conversation and then posting it on the internet, as like in most other countries, it is in Greece a crime to record a person in a private place without their knowledge. They will try to crucify him.
But, if the Golden Dawn wins next month and becomes the government, it won’t matter much, will it?
Kasidiaris is now saying he has another tape he is ready to release in the near future. I’ll bet he has a whole bunch of tapes.
The next weeks are going to be very interesting here in Greece.
