Wow, big weekend in Windy City!

Nine people were killed, including the son of a Chicago Police officer, and at least 43 more were wounded in shootings across Chicago between Friday night and Monday morning.
Shockingly, there are no riots declaring the value of White lives, after these 53 people – most or all of whom were Black – were shot, leading many to ask whether or not Black Lives Matter protesters actually believe Black lives matter, or just hate White people.
It has also led many Whites to ask whether or not we have an eternal duty to play babysitter to Black people simply because 1% of our ancestors owned Black slaves hundreds of years ago.
Even if we do decide that people have a natural duty to the descendents of those their own ancestors allegedly abused, surely at some point that duty expires. Perhaps we can come up with some type of math equation to explain when, exactly, White Americans will no longer be required to pay for the lives of Black people and then clean up their endless murder scenes.
