Germany is a nation currently run by Bizarro-Nazis, in that their official state doctrine is purposefully designed to be the Bizarro world* version of Nazi Germany. Thus, instead of helping their nation, they seek to destroy it. Instead of freeing other European nations, they seek to crush them like rats stuck to the glue-paper trap that is the Euro system.
*For those complete losers unaware, Bizarro world – also known as Htrae – is the DC universe alternate reality where Superman is the bad guy and Lex Luthor is the good guy. The Bizarro version of Batman – Batzarro – is the world’s worst detective. In Bizarro world, Adolf Hitler would exactly become Angela Merkel.
The German government believes that the euro zone would now be able to cope with a Greece exit if that proved to be necessary, Der Spiegel news magazine reported on Saturday, citing unnamed government sources.
Both Chancellor Angela Merkel and Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble believe the euro zone has implemented enough reforms since the height of the regional crisis in 2012 to make a potential Greece exit manageable, Der Spiegel reported.
“The danger of contagion is limited because Portugal and Ireland are considered rehabilitated,” the weekly news magazine quoted one government source saying.
In addition, the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), the euro zone’s bailout fund, is an “effective” rescue mechanism and was now available, another source added. Major banks would be protected by the banking union.
The German government in Berlin could not be reached for comment.
It is still unclear how a euro zone member country could leave the euro and still remain in the European Union, but Der Spiegel quoted a “high-ranking currency expert” as saying that “resourceful lawyers” would be able to clarify.
And yeah, they’re definitely either going to have to get some Jew lawyers on figuring that one out or they’re going to have to ready NATO bombers, because yeah, Syriza has already sold out, but if they win control of the government and don’t immediately engage in a Eurozone withdrawal, Greeks will literally burn everything.
And they are definitely going to win.
Greece’s radical leftist Syriza party led the ruling conservatives by 3.1 percentage points in an opinion poll conducted after it became clear that a snap election would be called, the pollster Rass said on Saturday.
The survey for Sunday’s Eleftheros Typos newspaper was conducted on Dec. 29 to 30, after Prime Minister Antonis Samaras failed to have his candidate elected president by parliament.
The poll put support for Syriza at 30.4 percent against 27.3 percent for the conservatives of Samaras’s New Democracy party, if an election were held now, a slight narrowing from a 3.4 point lead in a previous Rass poll last month. The election has been set for Jan. 25.
In other news, Golden Dawn is likely to make some serious gains in these elections as well, as they are now basically the only other relevant party in the country. Along with a joke party that is trying to build a soccer stadium that people vote for because they accept that they are hopelessly doomed.
