The man detained after a truck crashed into a Berlin Christmas market has been set free, Germany’s general prosecutor said in a statement Tuesday. “The investigations thus far have not produced sufficient evidence against the suspect,” the statement said.
So what’s going on????
I have absolutely no idea.
This man – a Paki “migrant” – was supposedly pulled out of the truck. Now they’ve just decided he did nothing wrong and released him.
And apparently, the guy who killed the driver of the truck and drove the truck into the Christmas market is still on the loose.
“What we know so far” is very, very little.
We know we’ve got a bunch of bodies, basically.
What we know so far:
– A large truck drove into a crowded Christmas market in west Berlin at around 8.30pm on Monday evening.
– So far 12 people have been confirmed dead, and 48 have been injured. Over a dozen are in a critical situation.
– Police confirmed they believe the attack was deliberate, but are said on Tuesday they might have arrested the wrong man.
– Prosecutors have now released the suspect.
– Police are telling Berliners to stay alert and to call them if they see anything suspicious.
– Chancellor Angela Merkel has said the attack was presumably an act of terrorism.
The German cops are telling people to get ready for more mass-death.
Germany can expect “further significant attacks” after a lorry ploughed into crowds at a Berlin Christmas market on Monday killing at least 12 people, a police chief has warned.

German police confirmed they are treating the incident, that injured at least 48, as a potential act of terrorism, however there has been no claim of responsibility so far.
“We need to work on the assumption that an armed perpetrator is still on the loose. As a result of this we are on high alert,” Mr Münch said at a press conference delivered by federal prosecutors.

Police presence has been increased at Christmas markets across Germany and officers have been armed with machine guns and protective vests.
However, Germany’s Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said Christmas markets and other big events should continue to take place following the incident.
He said: “Regardless of what we may learn about the exact motives of the assailant, we must not let our free way of life to be taken from us.”
“Exact motives.”

Merkel was specifically warned of attacks on Christmas markets months ago.
German officials were warned jihadists were planning to strike Christmas markets – just weeks before the horrific attack in Berlin.
At least 12 people were killed last night after a suspected ISIS militant ploughed a lorry into a festive market in the German capital.
Last month, US counter-terror experts warned European countries of a “heightened risk of terror attacks” at Christmas-themed events.
The US State Department said it had “credible information” that militants were planning attacks throughout Europe over the festive season.
It specifically warned tourists to “exercise caution at holiday festivals, events, and outdoor markets”.
European intelligence services were also aware of the threat of possible attacks across the continent in the run-up to Christmas.
The Foreign Office told British travellers to Germany to “remain vigilant” at “Christmas markets and other major events that might attract large crowds”.
Geert Wilders is getting big press for calling out Angela Merkel as the responsible party.

It is absolutely on Merkel, and she should be personally charged with these murders.
People get held responsible when they release vicious dogs onto the street and they attack people. In 2012, a court awarded a woman $4 million in compensation from the estate of a woman whose monkey clawed her eyes out in Connecticut.
Point being, it is universally understood that if you are responsible for releasing wild animals onto the street and they hurt people, you are responsible for these acts.
Moslems are nothing more or less than vicious, wild animals and Mama Merkel was aware of this fact when she released millions of them onto the streets of Germany.
Decision Time, Germany
Germans have made it clear that they want to have their race replaced, apparently as revenge on themselves for the Holocaust. And because they don’t want to be called Nazis by women and Jews.
However, they must now ask: is it worth being randomly murdered on the streets non-stop, simply to commit a genocide against yourself as punishment for some idiot fantasy story about fake shower room gas chambers, lampshades and soap?
A slow peaceful extermination is one thing. Masturbating to internet pornography while you give your women away to foreign men to use as sex dolls as you work and go about your daily business, however, is not one of the options.
The genocide will be bloody, or it won’t happen at all.
Is it worth it, Germany?
If not, then it is time to stand up and fight.
And hey, maybe the whole thing needs to be rethunk, guys.
Maybe you shouldn’t be exterminated at all.
Maybe you have a right to exist.
But look: if you want to exist, you have to fight for it.
That is the law of nature.
To live is to fight.
