It appears that the backlash against Nazis following the Charlottesville road rage incident has already begun.

AP:

Police say a drunken American man was punched by a passer-by as he gave the stiff-armed Nazi salute multiple times in downtown Dresden.

Dresden police said Sunday the 41-year-old, whose name and hometown weren’t given for privacy reasons, suffered minor injuries in the 8:15 a.m. Saturday assault.

Police say the American, who is under investigation for violating Germany’s laws against the display of Nazi symbols or slogans, had an extremely high blood alcohol level. His assailant fled the scene, and is being sought for causing bodily harm.

As I have said, I am deeply fearful that following Saturday’s road rage incident, Nazis all over the planet will face abuse simply because of their political affiliation.

The media is going into overdrive to attempt to portray road rage as a Nazi phenomenon, when in fact, Nazis make-up only a fraction of road ragers globally.

Now is the time for us to rally around Nazis and show them that we understand that they are not a threat, that road rage has no politics.

Nazism is a political belief of peace. Stereotyping all Nazis as road ragers is wrong.

The majority of road rage incidents are carried-out by blacks – not Nazis.
