An 11-year-old girl was raped, strangled to death and her body dumped in a dry well in Jaipur’s Sanjay Circle area.
Her body was spotted by a group of children playing in the vicinity.
The girl had gone missing the day before but her family didn’t report the matter to the police thinking she was at a relative’s house nearby.
No arrest was made until July 27.
