The trial of 69 heroic members of the Greek nationalist party the Golden Dawn on trumped-up and confusing charges was quickly adjourned after meeting this morning, The Guardian reports.
Today is, funnily enough, the three year anniversary of the Golden Dawn entering the Greek Parliament.
The party is being charged with being criminals, though the exact criminal charges are not clear. The ZOG of Greece alleges that they were planning murders and attacks and didn’t really care about politics, which is obviously completely stupid.
The trial is the result of a campaign of political persecution against the party, designed to harm their public image and lose them votes. No one expects them to actually be convicted of anything.
The trial is being held inside of the high-security Korydallos prison in Athens, apparently for dramatic effect. It was adjourned until today after beginning on April 20th, and it is clear that the entire goal is to drag it out as long as possible. It will allegedly resume on May 20th, but I’d imagine they’ll find another reason to extend it.
Nikolaos Michaloliakos, the party’s chairman, has been avoiding the trial in protest. And presumably also because he has nothing to say and has been informed by lawyers that he doesn’t actually have to say anything because they have absolutely nothing on him.
Idiot Marxists are continuing to pretend this is all real, with Tad Stahnke, head of the Washington-based Human Rights First, saying “A full and fair Golden Dawn trial is crucial for Greece, and important for all of Europe,” and adding “It is a chance for Greece to use democratic means and the rule of law to hold powerful individuals accountable for a wave of violence targeting the most vulnerable in society.”
Apparently, “the most vulnerable in society” are rappers, as that is who the Golden Dawn is being accused of ordering assassinated. Pavlos Fyssas was stabbed to death in a bar-fight after a football match by a man allegedly associated with the party.
Regardless of the ongoing persecution, Golden Dawn remains the third party in Greece. After they are finally vindicated, this persecution will only serve to show just how much the establishment feared them.
