You know, my friends, it’s easy to feel down these days. The invasion of Europe by Moslem savages. Blacks burning our bitch down once every few months. Jews controlling everything. But once in a while, we get a piece of news so comforting and positive, it just makes those dark clouds vanish from your mind and you just feel lighter.
Recently, an algorithm has grown in popularity and is now used all over the country to help judges and parole boards access the likelihood of a person committing additional crimes in the future. It’s called Northpointe, and its results have affected prison sentences, parole chances, and bail amounts without substantial testing on whether or not it actually works long term.
Rather than leaving critical decisions to people who may be biased, the program aims to minimize human error as much as possible. However, the generalizations, oversights, and misgivings this algorithm is capable of seem to rival even the most incompetent judges and juries.

Of course, the problem is that when a sensible man has to decide on sentencing these blacks, they only have one logical choice: lock up the monkey and throw away the key. And that sensible, common sense sort of decision is… how shall we say… racist. Therefore judges do the exact opposite to show how progressive they are.
But what if you could do the right thing, and not get called racist in the process? A crack team of science dudes developed the solution to this little problem.
There are many problems with using an algorithm to dictate sentences, but the one that sticks out is the undeniable bias it has towards minorities. A recent study by ProPublica proved the program to be an absolute failure in this regard. Only 20% of the 7000 criminals expected to commit a violent crime in the future had done so since their arrest.
It also takes specific variables and essential details out of the picture. Instead of evaluating each situation on a case by base basis, they analyze superfluous data from thousands of statistics that may not be at all related to the situation at hand.
When we stop looking at people and start looking at statistics and demographics, we not only limit our perception, we also commit ourselves to ignorance and stunt the growth of civilization. Numbers can tell you a lot, but they cannot speak for people better than they can themselves.

Yeah, obviously, using large amounts of statistic to predict future outcomes work. If it didn’t, then insurance companies would go bankrupt overnight. Liberals have no problems with insurance companies, right? Unless, of course, the insurance companies would charge higher premiums to black drivers (which they obviously would if it wasn’t illegal).
The thing is, using science to determine sentencing will always be racially discriminatory, because brown people suck, and society would be way safer if they’d all be locked up. But these cucks don’t care about the facts, only “muh feelings.” Well, guess what, cucks: hardcore Nazism is just plain old science, and your feelings are about to be ignored on a massive scale.
