Gloucester Township Police are searching for a man they say began to help a woman clear snow off of her parked car, then he attempted to grab her and kiss her.
The alleged incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Autumn Ridge Apartment Complex on the 1500 block of Little Gloucester Road.
Officers responded for a report of a man who attempted to inappropriately touch a 49-year-old woman near the “F” Building of the complex.
According to police, the man began to help the woman clear snow off of her parked vehicle, then he allegedly attempted to grab her and kiss her. Police say she screamed and pushed him off, and he fled from the scene on foot.
While investigating this incident, a separate incident was reported to officers near the “J” Building of the complex.
The second incident involved a man who approached a 20-year-old woman. According to police, the man approached this woman and attempted to place his arm around her and reached for her chest. Police say the woman kicked the suspect and screamed, and the suspect then fled on foot.
It is reported that these incidents occurred within 10 minutes of each other, and the suspect of both incidents is believed to be the same.
Police K-9 and officers searched the area, but did not find the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Black male in his early 20′s, brown eyes, 5’8″ to 5’10″, medium build with a “pointy nose.” He was last seen wearing a black puffy coat, dark pants, a dark knit cap with a scarf covering his mouth.
Police say another incident was reported to officers while searching the area. This incident occurred near the “J” Building of the complex. The second incident involved a man who approached a 20-year-old female. The man approached this woman and attempted to place his arm around her and reached for her chest. The woman kicked the suspect and screamed. The suspect then fled on foot.
