Google Removes All “Gun” Results in Their Shopping Search Engine – Then Quickly Reverses Changes

Why would a good goy ever need such an assault squirt gun?

The gun control fiesta is being kicked into MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE, with water guns, nerf guns, gun-themed band names and even colors now getting the bat.

We will never prevent Jew terrorists like Cruz from shooting up Jew schools unless we purge the very idea of a gun from the entire country. In fact, the violence probably won’t stop unless we somehow destroy the Platonic ideal of the gun itself.

I’m guessing the next step of gun control is to have European-style socialists astrally project into the ethereal plane an abolish the concept of weapons from existence.

Breitbart:

Google has removed search results for any product that contains the word “gun” in it, including water guns, toy guns, the band “Guns and Roses,” and even “burgundy” from its shopping section.

Sorry Axl, your rock anthems are standing in the way of progress.

Google has removed results in its shopping tool for a wide range of terms related to firearms, unwittingly censoring completely unrelated items such as music groups and movies whose titles matched filtered terms.

Google Shopping allows users to search for products from a wide range of online shopping sites to compare prices and offerings. The Internet giant has removed search results for a wide variety of terms, which was discovered by social media users this week.

Searches for “gun,” “guns,” “pistol,” “pistols,” “AR-15,” “rifle,” and “revolver,” in the shopping section of Google’s search engine will now fail to return any results, while other searches which have nothing to do with firearms but include the keywords similarly provide no results, including “toy guns,” “water guns,” “glue gun,” “Guns and Roses,” “Gundam,” “Top Gun,” “Naked Gun,” the Man With the Golden Gun,” “Shogun,” “Sex Pistols,” and even “burgundy.”

The European-style socialist fears the burgundy.

They’re not kidding about this.

The fact that words including “gun” as part of the title have led many to suspect Google is running a filter specifically to remove any search result including those letters, as opposed to filtering by product category or vendor.

The Breitbart article is now outdated, since Google has silently reversed their attempt at censorship.

This means that this wasn’t some elaborate policy decision implemented by skilled engineers, but probably the act of some rogue employee letting their SJW politics sabotage Google’s systems.

The implementation was so clumsy that it’s quite hard to believe any competent software engineer could be behind this, let alone a team. A simple regex could have prevented ridiculous non-sense like banning colors or band names. Skilled engineers would have banned product categories. This is just retard non-sense.

So again, it’s most likely this wasn’t an official policy, but the action of a single employee – or maybe some kind of mistake.

However, it’s still quite instructive in understanding the mindset of the left at the moment. The shitlib footsoldiers of the system have been whipped into an anti-gun frenzy by their European-style socialist masters, and are acting totally irrationally.

This could end up being a major victory for us.
