Notis Sfakianakis, one of the most commercially successful Greek singer of all time, has come out in an interview on Greek television in full support of Golden Dawn, saying that they will save Greece.  He has been attacked several times in the past for expressing support for the rising nationalist party, and stated in the interview that the attacks do not bother him, as he is an active citizen with every right to publicly state his political opinions.

“Everyone must support Golden Dawn. It is the only party that can properly govern Greece.” he said.

He went on to trash the entertainment media, saying that the entire music industry is staged by record producers.

Here is one of his songs.

Last year, triple jumper Voula Papachristou was banned from the Olympics for saying something that could have hurt an immigrant’s feelings on Twitter (even though immigrants do not use Twitter), and it was repeatedly claimed by the media that she was also sympathetic to the Golden Dawn, based on the fact that she had retweeted a Tweet by Kasidiaris.

Superfox runner Voula Papachristou was banned from the Olympics simply for posting a joke about immigrants on Twitter.

Due to this high-level of persecution by the establishment, it appears that most celebrities are too cowardly to come out in open support of the only party that can save Greece.

Sfakianakis is to be commended for his bravery.
