An armed man has holed up at a hotel in southern France, with police blocking a perimeter of 250 meters around the building. The motives of the man are as yet unknown.
Police, along with emergency services, are currently at the scene near the Formule 1 hotel in the commune of Bollene, Provence.
“A deranged man is holed up in the Formule 1 hotel,” a police spokeswoman told Reuters.

The man seems to be armed with a knife and may have an explosive device, a local gendarme officer told Reuters.
The hotel has been evacuated, La Dauphine media outlet reported.
This is the second knife attack in France I report today. I guess the French will need to institute knife control now, too? I mean, guns are already basically illegal in France, so, what’s next?
There seems to be an avalanche of happenings in France. Maybe one attack is inspiring the next one. But it’s also possible that Moslems just hate France in particular. I’ve heard they still, to this day, call any western soldier occupying the middle east “Franks.” They still hold a grudge for the crusades, I guess.
If they want it so bad, maybe we should give it to them?
The thing is that the government and media in France are particularly Jewed-out, while the people are increasingly angry and disillusioned with the ruling party. Hollande has an approval rating below 20%.
Things are definitely ripe for some kind of major backlash. And the situation is getting more tense with every attack.
That’s the thing. If these dumb Moslems had just a little bit of patience, they could take over the whole country without a hitch. The government and media are basically on their side. All they’d have to do is bide their time and continue having 10 kids each, and they’d have the nation within a generation or two.
Moslems: Not master strategists.
But they can’t help themselves.
The Hajis are too impulsive, too stupid and too violent to resist the allure of blowing up everything and killing all our guys.
