UPDATE VI:

Final numbers from the BBC are six dead, plus three suspects killed by police.

No word as to if others are expected to die in hospital at this point. Though I’d expect if they were stabbed, they would have either died or not died at this point. Getting run over by a van is more complicated, medically.

UPDATE V:

Remember, we still don’t know who did this.

And in America, if an attack like this happened, according to the official data of the Anti-Defamation League, there would be a 70% chance it would be White Supremacists.

And only a 13% chance it would be Islamic in nature.

And I assume the numbers are about the same in the UK.

So, keep that in mind, and remember that the media is controlled by White Supremacists, so they are very likely to jump to the conclusion that it is Moslems without any evidence – despite the fact that they know, based on real hard numbers from the ADL, that there’s a 70% chance it’s White Supremacists.

I just want to talk about how they keep referring to a “machete” as a “large knife” or in some cases a “massive knife.”

Why do they not use the word “machete”? Is this somehow politically incorrect now, given that it draws up imagery of third world barbarism?

It actually seems so. And I would not be the least be surprised if the AP Stylebook soon gives an actual update saying to refer to a machete as a “massive knife.”

It’s being reported that 7 are dead and 20 injured from the attacks.

An eyewitness has said that one of the attackers with a “massive knife” proclaimed that he was doing it for Allah. Also isn’t a “massive knife” just code for a machete?

CBS/CNN/AP:

London authorities say there are reported “multiple” casualties following three incidents across the British capital Saturday night, CBS News reports.

A van mowed down pedestrians as it sped down London Bridge, leaving bodies lying in the roadway, a witness to the incident told CNN.

Also Saturday, a man with a “massive knife” entered a restaurant at Borough Market, just south of the Bridge, and stabbed two people inside, a witness told CNN on Saturday. The patrons sheltered in the basement and police have arrived at the scene, the witness said. The conditions of the stabbed people was not known.

The BBC reports more than one person died on London Bridge. Nick Brandon of British Transport Police told The Associated Press that they received reports of “multiple” casualties in an incident possibly involving a knife and a vehicle.

A witness of the London Bridge incident said the attackers were yelling, “This is for Allah.”

It looks as if Islamic terrorism has just struck the heart of London.

We have another happening. A van has reportedly run over around 20 people in the streets of London. There are also reports of mass stabbings and some gun fire. The incident took place around the London Bridge area which is obviously a very famous landmark in the British capital.

The Sun:

LONDON Bridge has been evacuated amid reports of a van mowing down pedestrians, victims being stabbed and shots being fired.

Armed police are at the scene while people have been seen fleeing the central London landmark near Borough Market amid reports that an officer has been “seriously injured”.

Eye witnesses confirm that several bodies are “strewn on the ground” and people are receiving CPR after being stabbed with “12 inch long knives” while a bomb squad has arrived on the scene.

Several gun shots have been fired amid the ensuing chaos.

A Sun journalist at the scene tweeted that he saw one man being led away by police in cuffs.

There have been reports of two to three men armed with knives stabbing people at random.

The white van which reportedly crashed into pedestrians was said to be travelling at around 50mph.

A cab driver told The Sun that he was stuck at traffic lights when he saw a transit van smash into London Bridge.

He heard gunshots and says a police was hurt.

Casualties were seen being taken away from Tito’s restaurant on London Bridge Street with blood on the steps of the eatery.

In horrifying footage taken from the scene, police can be heard shouting “clear the area, now” while screaming people can be seen running in fear for their lives.

Sky News has a live feed documenting the unfolding events. They are reporting that a second incident has also occurred around the Borough Market area.

There’s currently a massive police response under way.

Based on what we know about what happened so far, it looks as if this is another case of Islamic terrorism.

Between this and the recent concert bombing that took place in Manchester, it is clear that the British people are under siege. Will they rise up and finally demand the obvious solution to this problem?
