So the guy who yelled at a wetback wearing a wetback shirt is getting hit with federal hate crimes charges.
The man caught on video making racist comments to a woman wearing a Puerto Rican flag T-shirt is now facing additional hate crime charges.
Timothy Trybus already faced a simple assault charge over the June 14 incident but a spokesperson for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office announced that Trybus will be in court for a bond hearing over two counts of a felony hate crime charges on Friday July 12.
Trybus was originally released on bond over the initial simple assault charge from the June 14 incident in a Chicago area park, and he was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 1 for that charge. Court records indicate that he has been appointed a public defender, who has not been named. ABC News has been unable to reach Trybus.
I’m not even clear what the initial “assault” charge is about – as the woman says in the video, he doesn’t even touch her.
Later in the video, Irizarry is shown asking a nearby Cook County Forest Preserve District police officer, later identified as Conner, for help in getting the man away from her. The video shows the officer appearing not to move any closer to the pair or do anything to actively end the situation.
“As you can see the police are not even — he’s not even grabbing him. Like this guy is just walking up to me. He basically got in my face, damn near almost touched me,” Irizarry is heard saying to the camera during the incident.
I thought you had to touch someone for it to be assault. I know that if you get in someone’s face and they tell you to leave and you keep yelling at them you can be charged with harassment or menacing, but I honestly don’t understand how it is “assault.”
Meanwhile…
The negress who beat a 91-year-old wetback nearly to death with a brick was caught.
And virtually no major media outlet – for example, CNN – is even showing her picture.
Like, this is crazy. They’re doing all these reports on this poor innocent old Mexican man attacked, and not showing the negress – literally by omission implying it was a white woman who did it.
CNN is also now reporting that there is no known motive.
Even though when it happened, their headline was that the (then unidentified) attacker was yelling at him to “go back to Mexico.”
So Yeah, That’s the Tale of Two Hate Crimes for You
A white guy’s face is everywhere for yelling at a spic, he’s getting felony hate crimes charges associated with the yelling incident.
A black female’s face is nowhere to be seen, they don’t know what her motive is for beating a Mexican with a brick while yelling “go back to Mexico.”
It’s almost as if there is a double-standard in play here.
