This is a real eye-popping article.
I mean it. Really really.
Let’s read along together. I’ll chime in with comments pretty much every paragraph or so.
Syrian rebel commander said on Thursday rare military exercises with U.S. marines in southern Syria sent a strong message to Russia and Iran that the Americans and the rebels intend to stay and confront any threats to their presence.
So they’re just going to come right out and admit that?
Alright then… isn’t there supposed to be like, idk, outrage over this?

Colonel Muhanad al Talaa, commander of the Pentagon-backed Maghawir al Thawra group, told Reuters the eight days of drills that ended this week at the U.S. military outpost in Tanf were the first such exercises with live-fire air and ground assault, involving hundreds of U.S. troops and rebel fighters.
That’s cool. Straight up teaming up with jihadis!
“These exercises have a big importance and have beefed up the defenses of the area and raised the combat capabilities and morale and that of civilians in the area,” Talaa told Reuters by phone from Tanf, near Syria’s borders with Jordan and Iraq.
A U.S. military spokesman said the exercises were a show of force and that the Pentagon had notified Moscow through “deconfliction” channels to prevent “miscommunication or escalate tension”.
“The exercise was conducted to reinforce our capabilities and ensure we are ready to respond to any threat to our forces within our area of operations’” Colonel Sean Ryan told Reuters in an email response to a question on the exercises.
Russia and the Syrian government have repeatedly called on Washington to pull out its troops from Tanf base, where it has declared a 55 km (35 mile)-radius “deconfliction zone” off-limits to others.
So the US has basically carved out a no-go zone where they can train literal jihadis.
I know Trump’s a busy man, but I wish he’d get on this.

Rebels say hundreds of U.S. marines arrived this month in Tanf to join special operations troops already based in the garrison and participate in the drills, amid heightened U.S.-Russian tensions in Syria and a naval buildup in the Mediterranean.
Oh great. A surge in Syria. I don’t think we ever put this to a vote? Oh wait… we did… and Americans overwhelmingly said, “no, fuck off with that half-baked kike idea.”
The “deconfliction zone” has become a safe haven for at least 50,000 civilians who live in the Rukban camp that lies within it. Russia’s defense ministry in August repeated an accusation that Washington has been harboring Islamic State militants within the zone.
Well… the Russians have been pretty on the ball about this whole fighting ISIS thing.
I’m willing to take their word on this one while I wait on proofs.
“We are staying whether the Russians or Iranians want or not,” the rebel commander added.
The outpost, surrounded by desert, was established during the battles against Islamic State militants who used to control eastern Syria bordering Iraq.

ISIS used to be there. Now there’s a giant refugee camp…where ISIS used to be…where the Russians say ISIS still is…where they fought ISIS like 4 months ago…where the US has established a training zone now…for rebels…where ISIS used to be…but where “rebels” are now…
After Islamic State were driven out, U.S.-led coalition warplanes struck Iranian-backed militias on several occasions to prevent them advancing, in what Washington has described as self-defense.
Defending ISIS now? Killing Iranians? Wh-whut?
Like, I don’t really care about Iranians. I think they’re weird and gay AF. But c’mon now. Chill out with that!
Tanf lies on the strategic Damascus-Baghdad highway, once a major supply route for Iranian weapons into Syria.
This makes the base a bulwark against Iran and part of a larger campaign against Iran’s military expansion in the Middle East.
Control of the area has long been a goal of the Syrian government and its Russian and Iranian allies.
You know, I think normies are just tuning out now. That goes for “principled” liberals as well.
It is too much for them to handle that the US is straight-up supporting ISIS against the baby-gasser. So they shut down and shut up about it. Better to drone on about DRUMPF… who should probably get a handle on this situation tbh.
I can’t imagine that Trump is actually supporting this dastardly kike scheme.
He seems more interested in jobs and makin’ deals and giving rallies. Not this garbage.
You know, I think the Russians might be right about one more thing. The US military apparatus is not under the control of the White House anymore. This seems to be happening completely independent of Trump and his presidency. Someone’s running the American war effort in Syria, and no one knows about it, no one seems to understand who, and no one (but the Neon-Nazis) seems to care!
