Sure, it’s pretty nasty to force a 96-year-old man to go to prison for imaginary crimes committed 70 years ago.
But 300,000 Jews – dang, that’s a lot of Jew killing.
I mean – this guy, in this imaginary story, was killing LITERALLY 3-400 Jews per day.
AP:
Germany’s highest court has thrown out a bid by a 96-year-old former Auschwitz death camp guard convicted as an accessory to murder for a reprieve on serving his sentence.
Oskar Groening was convicted in July 2015 of being an accessory to the murder of 300,000 Jews and sentenced to four years in prison. A federal court rejected his appeal last year.
Groening remained free pending a dispute over his fitness for prison. Prosecutors argued that he is fit to serve time so long as there is appropriate medical care.
Sure, sure. It is clearly cruel and even sadistic to send a man this old to prison, especially based on a fictitious hoax.
But look: just imagine how long it takes you to get 3-400 kills in Counter Strike, then understand that killing someone in real life is at least twice as difficult as killing someone in a video game.
Then understand that this guy was doing that every single day for years on end.
This random guy who no one had even heard of until a couple years ago is literally the greatest mass murderer in all of history.
That’s why it is okay to send a guy in his 90s to prison.
