HILLARY CLINTON WAS JUST ROLLED OUT TO GIVE A SPEECH SAYING SOMETHING NEEDED TO BE DONE ABOUT PIZZAGATE.

This is a real thing which has actually happened in real life!!!

I can’t even.

Let me just mention briefly one threat in particular that should concern all Americans, Democrats, Republicans and independents alike – especially those who serve in our congress.

The epidemic of malacious, fake news and false propaganda that flooded social media over the past year, it’s now clear that so-called fake news can have real world consequences.

This isn’t about politics or partisanship. Lives are at risk. Lives of ordinary people just trying to go about their days, to do their jobs, contribute to their communities.

It’s a danger that must be adderessed and addressed quickly. Bipartisan legislation is making it’s way through congress to boost the government’s response to foreign propaganda and Silicon Valley is starting to grapple with the challenge and threat of fake news.

It’s imperative that leaders in both the private sector and the public sector step up to protect our democracy and innocent lives.

Okay, so.

“Lives are at risk” is a direct reference to the incident with Welch at Comet Ping Pong. So she is discussing Pizzagate. That is the context of this.

It is especially concerning to those in congress, she says.

Why?

Well, presumably because they’re all perverts. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense why members of congress would be more concerned about a particular threat than anyone else.

It is clear that all of these people are freaking the hell out. They are unhinged. They think it makes sense to bring this woman out and say this now, and all it does is dig the hole deeper.

And what is she saying needs to be done?

Shut it down.

How?

Well, the House has passed a bill which would apparently outlaw most of the internet. It’s what she’s referring to in the speech.

On November 30, one week after the Washington Post launched its witch hunt against “Russian propaganda fake news“, with 390 votes for, the House quietly passed “H.R. 6393, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017“, sponsored by California Republican Devin Nunes (whose third largest donor in 2016 is Google parent Alphabet, Inc), a bill which deals with a number of intelligence-related issues, including Russian propaganda, or what the government calls propaganda, and hints at a potential crackdown on “offenders.”

A quick skim of the bill reveals “Title V—Matters relating to foreign countries”,  whose Section 501 calls for the government to “counter active measures by Russia to exert covert influence … carried out in  coordination with, or at the behest of, political leaders or the security services of the Russian Federation and the role of the Russian Federation has been hidden or not acknowledged publicly.”

The section lists the following definitions of media manipulation:

• Establishment or funding of a front group.
• Covert broadcasting.
• Media manipulation.
• Disinformation and forgeries.
• Funding agents of influence.
• Incitement and offensive counterintelligence.
• Assassinations.
• Terrorist acts.

As ActivistPost correctly notes, it is easy to see how this law, if passed by the Senate and signed by the president, could be used to target, threaten, or eliminate so-called “fake news” websites, a list which has been used to arbitrarily define any website, or blog, that does not share the mainstream media’s proclivity to serve as the Public Relations arm of a given administration.

It’s not clear when the Senate votes.

What powers would this actually give?

Honestly, I have no idea.

But we’ve got 42 days until inauguration.

So if she wants to rush it through now, then it would have to become immediately active, and I guess just shut off websites. I don’t know. None of this really makes any sense. Trump isn’t going to go along with this idea of shutting down the internet because lives are in danger because some goofy guy went to a pedo pizza joint – General Flynn has tweeted Pizzagate, and he’s a key figure in the incoming administration.

So what are they going to do in a few days? If they shut this stuff off – this site, for example – people are going to freak the hell out. It would be a solution if Hillary was coming in, then they could just launch a war with Russia and use that to do anything.

But with Trump?

No dice.

This looks like a lot of desperate lunacy to me. If they actually shut off the internet or start arresting people and saying they’re Russian agents, all they are going to do is totally incriminate themselves further… but you know, with all we have on #Pizzagate right now, I’m thinking “this could incriminate me further” is not something that is on these people’s minds. They are already incriminated beyond hope of redemption. Now they’re just trying anything.

But it could end up being a very interesting home stretch to inauguration.

As for me, I’m keeping the pressure on #Pizzagate.

All Hillary’s emergency speech did is confirm to anyone with reservations about this just how real it is.

We are in deep now, people.

I think things may be about to get weird.

But victory shall be ours. Never forget that.
