How Much Should Black Slave Reparations Cost?

In the run-up to the 2020 election, there is a lot of talk about reparations for black slaves.

Apparently, Democrats are planning on actually doing this. At a recent Al Sharpton event, most of the presidential candidates showed support for a slave reparations program.

So, we need to figure out just exactly how much the blacks are due as recompense for their ancestors having been slaves hundreds of years ago.

An article we published early today talked about how Georgetown University Jesuits had sold 272 slaves for $500,000 in today’s dollars.

This is $1,838.24 per slave.

To put that in perspective, that is roughly the cost of two iPhones, or a 2006 Honda Civic with 200,000 miles on its meter.

So, if we’re talking about reimbursing them for the cost of themselves, we could give them a choice between two iPhones or a used Honda Civic.

However, that wouldn’t really be fair. We must also consider all of the government money that the blacks have gotten which they would not have gotten if they’d remained in West Africa.

So, their total reparations should logically be $1,838.24 MINUS however much they’ve received in social welfare from the American taxpayer.

And because race doesn’t exist and so on, if the amount they’ve received in total welfare money in their life exceeds $1,838.24, they should have to pay the difference back as reparations to America. That is the only fair way to approach this. If we aren’t fair, then this is just about giving free money to blacks because we view them as pathetic. And as they are exactly equal to us, that would be pure hatred for the color of the skin.

Slave reparations are fair and just. But we must make sure that they are handed out in a fair and just manner.
