Ian McShane – whomst you may remember from the bretty gud HBO show “Deadwood,” and maybe from something else if you’re British – is very old.
But I’m not sure he’s allowed to say this, even the way he phrased it.
From an interview in The Telegraph:
When it comes to Hollywood’s current drive for “inclusiveness”, he’s only slightly more tactful. “There can be no proper discussion of race and gender any more,” he says. “You can’t say anything. The pendulum of the #MeToo movement’s swung too far. Jeffrey Tambor was sacked from Transparent [the Amazon transgenderism drama, over sexual harassment allegations, which Tambor denies] because it all became so political.”
McShane doesn’t specifically mention Liam Neeson’s recent revelation – that as a young man he had wanted to kill a black person after someone close to him said they’d been attacked by a black man – but says: “When asked about race, white people should shut the f— up. What are they supposed to say? You just have to zip it.”
He is smart enough to have left it there.
But the point he is making is obvious: white people are attacked for anything and everything to do with race, so the only solution is to keep your head down and hope you don’t get targeted by the mob.
I don’t know if you’re allowed to say that.
It’s an interesting case.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
This “conversation about race” bullshit the left spews is the most Orwellian thing of all. When they say “conversation,” what they mean is that you as a white person have to be brutally demeaned and attacked and if you say anything in response you are destroyed.
I want to have a conversation about race. I want to discuss what the relationship is between the average IQ of black people, and the fact that they fail at everything everywhere they live – from Cape Town, to the Port-Au-Prince, to Chicago. I think that is a very interesting conversation.
I’d also like to talk about the number of my people that they’re murdering each week in my country. That’s another very interesting conversation.
But there won’t be any conversations.
You will just be demeaned and degraded as evil for saying anything at all, so if you don’t want your life destroyed, the best option is to shut the fuck up.
