An Aer Lingus worker will be sentenced next February for helping illegal immigrants enter the country.
Today Frederick Cham (62) pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to two charges of organising or facilitating the entry into the State of a person who was an illegal immigrant or who was seeking asylum at Dublin Airport on December 29, 2016 and January 9, 2017.
Cham, of Railway Cottages, Hazelhatch, Celbridge, Co Kildare but originally from Hong Kong was arrested as part of an investigation by the Garda National Immigration Bureau.
The court heard previously that it was alleged that he, along with others, helped them to bypass passport control.
