The Negro Felon League has been mired in controversy over the whole kneeling thing. It’s gotten President Trump to comment on it, Vice-President Pence to walk out on a game, and thousands of fans to burn their overpriced shit and boycott the league.
It’s been one of the biggest red-pill moments in 2017.
And while we may not get anything more red-pilling entertainment out of the NFL this year, we have the Superbowl to look forward to. Not to watch the game mind you, but to watch the fallout.
But that’s not all.
Could we see the start of something similar in the NBA?
Mark Cuban is taking exception to Draymond Green’s comments about team owners.
Green said last week they should be called chairmen, as not to insinuate that they own someone, in the wake of Texans owner Bob McNair’s comment that the NFL “can’t have inmates running the prison.”
Now, Cuban wants an apology.
Here, this gets heavy on the gossipy sort of SportsTalk that everyone with an IQ higher than 115 rolls their eyes at. But it means that some Critical Theory-educated negro has noticed a micro-aggression that he thinks he can milk for fame and attention like that Colin Arab/Black/Afro/Kneeler-guy.
“For starters, let’s stop using the word owner and maybe use the word Chairman,” Green wrote. “To be owned by someone just sets a bad precedent to start. It sets the wrong tone. It gives one the wrong mindset.”
Cuban, one of the more outspoken NBA owners, did not appreciate Green’s response and went on to point out the programs the Mavericks have in place to help develop their players.
Bad move, Cuban.
You can’t appease the monster like that. It’s not a logical debate you’re engaging in, its a losing one. You better figure out how to put a lid on this before we get a dumpster fire like the NFL in the NBA.
Am I reading into this too much, lads?
I don’t think so. Real life is a South Park episode where everything is overblown and overexaggerated to the point of caricature in public life. Some people are suggesting that we now live in a bizarre dreamscape nightmare world fueled entirely by memes…
And they might be right.
At the very least, we’re clearly in Clownworld. And this little apeball spat can blow up into something much bigger. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but defs around the time that March Madness rolls around.
