Diversity Macht Frei

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu was caught recently warning that unless the European Union changed its attitude towards Israel, it would be destroyed.
Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has launched a withering attack on the European Union at a closed-door meeting of eastern European leaders in Budapest, saying the political grouping would wither and die if it did not change its policy towards Israel.
The remarks, caught on an open microphone, underlined Netanyahu’s often barely disguised contempt for the European political union, which has criticised Israel – and his government in particular – over issues including Jewish settlement building in the occupied Palestinian territories and the peace process.
…
“I think Europe has to decide if it wants to live and thrive or if it wants to shrivel and disappear,” he said. “I am not very politically correct. I know that’s a shock to some of you. It’s a joke. But the truth is the truth – both about Europe’s security and Europe’s economic future. Both of these concerns mandate a different policy toward Israel.”
In 2015 he made similar remarks about FIFA in a row about whether Israel should be suspended from the organisation.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the proposal, claiming a threat to Israel was a threat to FIFA. “The effort to hurt Israel will destroy FIFA because if they start with one country they will move on to another and it will collapse the organization. The effort to suspend Israel is severe and we will resist it unequivocally.”
Netanyahu mentioned his remarks to FIFA president Sepp Blatter, who is up for re-election at the Congress and facing calls for his retirement: “I told Blatter that if he allows the suspension of Israel he will have allowed for the destruction of FIFA.”
Both sets of remarks are clearly implied threats. Netanyahu believes that Jewish lobbying power, if applied in full force, would be able to bring about the destruction of the European Union and FIFA. But the belief in all-powerful Jews operating behind the scenes is a standard part of anti-semitic conspiracy theory. Thus we are forced to conclude that Israel’s prime minister is a self-hating antisemitic conspiracy theorist. Either that or all of those conspiracy theories about Jews are true.
