It looks as if a select number of Jews have realized that banning moderate right-wing commentators from all the big social media sites probably wasn’t the best strategy. The Jew Bill Maher recently criticized the social media ban of Alex Jones and said that he had a right to speak.
HBO talk-show host Bill Maher spoke out in defense of controversial right-wing host Alex Jones after Jones was suspended from several social media platforms, saying that everyone has a right to free speech.
Maher, noting that Jones has “told crazy lies” about him, said on his HBO show Friday that “if you’re a liberal, you’re supposed to be for free speech.”
“That’s free speech for the speech you hate. That’s what free speech means. We’re losing the thread of the concepts that are important to this country,” he continued.
“If you care about the real American shit or you don’t. And if you do, it goes for every side. I don’t like Alex Jones, but Alex Jones gets to speak. Everybody gets to speak,” Maher said.
Maher is recognizing that the incoherent nature of these bans is inviting government regulation of all social media sites. If proper regulations are put into place and existing laws enforced, they’ll be explicitly prohibited from arbitrarily banning people for their political beliefs. Once that happens, Jews will be forced once again to debate real nationalists on a level playing field inside the public square. This is a fight that they can’t win.
And check out these idiotic comments from alleged conservative Charlie Sykes who was on the panel with Maher.
Charlie Sykes, a contributing editor for The Weekly Standard, pushed back on Maher’s comments, saying that Jones “doesn’t necessarily get to speak on Facebook or Twitter,” to which the host agreed.
“If he engages in vile slander and fabrication about children who are murdered at Sandy Hook and he harasses the parents of children who were murdered at Sandy Hook … Facebook, Twitter don’t have an obligation to provide him a platform because they’re private companies,” Sykes said.
He’s claiming that it is perfectly fine for monopolistic companies – because they are “private entities” – to act in collusion and blacklist someone from the public square over their beliefs. The problem with that argument as we have stated over and over again is the fact that there is only one public square.
The public square of the modern era is represented by Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. If you are blacklisted from these sites, you can’t just take your business to another private company nor can you as a private individual create your own separate public square. That is why it is necessary for the government to step in and ensure that the right of all to participate equally in the public square is protected.
Boomer “conservatives” like Charlie Sykes have failed to conserve anything. People like him are the reason why we are dealing with insane things like faggot marriage and child trannies.
Sykes is not only a boomer but he was in the never-Trump camp. He is not an intelligent man and his comments further illustrate that he doesn’t have the slightest idea of what is going on.
The thing is, the Jews as they always do have gone too far. The one’s like Maher who are trying to prevent them from falling into the abyss, appear to be in the minority.
