Well, you wouldn’t expect this.
RT:
The self-described democratic socialist Senator Bernie Sanders is now getting grief from his supporters for apparently aligning himself with the Trump administration and its regime change efforts in Venezuela.
Having announced a 2020 bid for the Democratic presidential nomination this week, Sanders (I-Vermont) digressed from his twitter storm about healthcare, wage inequality and taxing the rich to endorse US “humanitarian aid” for Venezuela, which the Trump administration is using to bolster the self-proclaimed interim president Juan Guaido.
“The people of Venezuela are enduring a serious humanitarian crisis. The Maduro government must put the needs of its people first, allow humanitarian aid into the country, and refrain from violence against protesters,” Sanders tweeted on Saturday.

While the tweet received praise from accounts favoring regime change, and drew some mockery from conservatives, there has been a veritable avalanche of disappointment from the Vermont senator’s sympathizers – as well as journalists and celebrities opposed to the regime change operation.
I think even Sanders’ supporters have come to terms with the fact that because he’s Jewish, he will support war against the Palestinians.
That was something of an issue in his 2016 campaign.
But Bernie supporting a war in Venezuela – to fight communism, of all things – just seems weird.
And of course you can say “well, he supports that too because he’s Jewish,” but clearly there are a lot of Jewish agendas he doesn’t support – at least in his rhetoric.
You have to wonder why he’s supporting it. And if I had to wager, it’s to give people like AOC room to support it. He’s trying to transform a neocon war of aggression run by John Bolton and Elliot Abrams into a progressive issue.
People on his team were not happy about his decision.
Bernie, are you f-ing kidding me! if you buy the Trump, Bolton, Abrams, Rubio line, “humanitarian intervention” and collude in the destruction of Venezuela, you cannot be credible candidate for President of the USA. Or, maybe you can, maybe you’re the perfect stooge for the 1 %.

Imagine being Bernie Sanders and thinking Mike Pence, John Bolton, and Elliott Abrams are innocently committed to alleviating the humanitarian plight of the Venezuelan people, and that the “food and medicine” they’re sending has no ulterior motive. Have you lost your mind???

Come on, Tracey. There’s no way he doesn’t know and you know that.
you know better than to endorse a stunt led by war criminals who have snuck weapons in aid shipments in the past. This stance will not make democrats like you more and will only lose you support from socialists

A sad commentary on US politics that the country’s most prominent self-proclaimed socialist feels compelled to feed into an interventionist narrative crafted by the Trump administration.

It is now looking as though the only candidate in the 2020 Democrat race who will not be supporting this war is Tulsi Gabbard.
That creates a very difficult situation for the entire party. If there was not a single dissenter, then it wouldn’t make much of a difference. But if there is a dissenter, this gives any potentially non-evil leftists a person to rally around.
The Democrat Party is so corrupt that I think it is more or less impossible that Tulsi could get the nomination.
But if she did somehow get the nomination, I’d have a hard time deciding who to support between her and Trump.
I am just so tired of these endless wars.
And if Trump isn’t going to slow the invasion, then really the only reason to support him is to stop an insane Democrat agenda. But I don’t really think Tulsi would push an insane agenda.
Anyway – no, I don’t think she’s going to get the nomination. But there is a very real chance that she’ll cause some pretty serious problems for the party once things really get rolling. Especially if the war on Venezuela has already gotten rolling.
Will The Young Turks be able to support this Jewish war and keep their audience, I wonder?
Speaking of TYT, are you aware that Ana Kasperian has hit the wall and looks like a soul-sucking monster?
It truly is cruel what nature does to these filthy cocksucking whores.
One day they’re just lovely, then all of the sudden WHAM.
To be fair, Ana was living on borrow time anyway. She was not naturally attractive. She had a typical Armenian nose.
If the other Young Turks had successfully genocided her people, she wouldn’t be dealing with any of these issues.
Our fren Jimmy Dore celebrated the Bernie campaign announcement on Friday.
You can see him licking his lips when he’s watching the video of Bernie and he starts talking about free stuff.
Will Jimmy Dore be willing to go against free everything in order to oppose war?
There were protests in New York on Saturday against a war in Venezuela.
It was mostly brown people.
