This past week the President announced that they would be implementing tariffs on foreign steel and aluminum. He also posted several tweets on the subject.
We must protect our country and our workers. Our steel industry is in bad shape. IF YOU DON’T HAVE STEEL, YOU DON’T HAVE A COUNTRY!

When a country Taxes our products coming in at, say, 50%, and we Tax the same product coming into our country at ZERO, not fair or smart. We will soon be starting RECIPROCAL TAXES so that we will charge the same thing as they charge us. $800 Billion Trade Deficit-have no choice!

The United States has an $800 Billion Dollar Yearly Trade Deficit because of our “very stupid” trade deals and policies. Our jobs and wealth are being given to other countries that have taken advantage of us for years. They laugh at what fools our leaders have been. No more!

If the E.U. wants to further increase their already massive tariffs and barriers on U.S. companies doing business there, we will simply apply a Tax on their Cars which freely pour into the U.S. They make it impossible for our cars (and more) to sell there. Big trade imbalance!

As expected, reaction in the Jewish media to this announcement has been extremely negative. They’re claiming that taxing foreign goods coming into the United States will lead to a trade war, increased prices and a potential economic collapse. The National Review, a fake conservative propaganda operation littered with Jews and Zionists, issued an incoherent and rambling response expressing their displeasure with the announcement.
Their perspective is a fallacy. The fact of the matter is that the United States has enormous trade deficits with foreign countries. The most notable of which is the trade deficit with China. This ridiculous situation was allowed to occur as a result of “free trade” deals like NAFTA and others. It gave multinational corporations the ability to exploit cheap foreign labor while still having access to sell their products in the United States. The end result has been fewer good paying jobs for Americans because these jobs were exported to places like China and Mexico.
These “free trade” deals weren’t “free” at all. They were unfair trade deals that hurt American workers. The “free trade” designation has been a branding and marketing slogan used to promote these insane agreements that have screwed over Americans for years.
While it’s true that implementing tariffs will cause an increase in the cost of certain products, it’s inconsequential if you have large numbers of people who don’t have good paying jobs to afford those products in the first place. It’s much more important to have a population with gainful employment even if specific products are slightly more expensive as a result.
Relying on foreign countries for raw materials is also a national security concern. For all the people who whine over and over again about national security, they should be welcoming this announcement. The United States is much more secure if it is self sufficient in terms of obtaining raw materials and manufacturing goods.
America became great in the 19th century during a time in which tariffs were imposed on foreign products. This policy allowed the nation’s industry to grow and prosper.
Throughout the 19th century, the United States functioned largely by imposing tariffs on foreign products. It was during this time that the country grew into a significant industrial power. This is something that you do not hear talked about much. The country flourished when we had policies in place that protected the nation’s industry.
So unless you are a Jew who hates America, there is no viable argument against imposing tariffs and establishing a fair and reciprocal trade policy with foreign countries. The United States and the American worker has been taken advantage of for far too long.
