At least 18 people were killed in a West Bank refugee camp, the Palestinian health ministry has said, following an airstrike that the Israeli military claimed killed a local Hamas leader.
A source within the Palestinian security services told the AFP news agency that the attack was the deadliest in the West Bank since 2000.
“Eighteen martyrs following the bombing of the Tulkarm camp by the occupation,” the Palestinian health ministry said on its Telegram account.
An activist in the area told AFP that the Israeli strike “hit a cafeteria in a four-storey building”, adding that there were “many victims in the hospital”.

Hamas condemned the airstrike, calling it a “cruel attack” that would prove to be a “dangerous escalation”.

Israel has occupied the West Bank since 1967, and its forces regularly make incursions into Palestinian communities, but the current raids as well as comments by Israeli officials mark an escalation, residents say.
Obviously, there was no Hamas guy. The Jews just say that when they do terrorist bombings. This is no different than any of the various Islamist terrorist attacks in Europe, it’s simply that the Israelis say “oh there was a bad guy there though.”
Currently, these Jews are on a mission to make the entire Middle East feel like no one is safe. Netanyahu has been saying “we can get you anywhere.” So while many of the bombings are targeted for military reasons they can at least explain, some of them are purely random, simply sending a message that they can and will kill anyone, anywhere, for any reason.
The plan is not simply to ethnically cleanse Gaza, but the West Bank as well. The Jews are hoping a sweeping movement is going to completely transform the entire Middle East, giving them all of Palestine, turning the Shia belt into burned-out wrecks, and then allowing them to normalize relations with the remaining states.
