That explains the smoothness of the jump from “Trump is a Russian agent” to “help us! Trump is trying to kill us because we hoaxed that Russia thing! He’s making fun of us on Twitter and we could LITERALLY DIE from this! HALP HALP HALP!”

Because for me, as an average person, I would have a really hard time switching from the former to the latter so smoothly.

I would definitely feel like I was going insane if I was around people making such a switch that easily.
