At gunpoint in the summer of 2003, he forced the woman into a car and took her to an apartment where he raped her. During the rape, he explained to her that since he was now a Swedish citizen, it was free for him to rape her and he could not be deported. He also told her that he was a murderer who had killed ten people, and that therefore she would report him to the police.
He carried out the rape in retaliation against the 24-year-old woman because she had helped two of his daughters to escape the culture of honor that he imposed on them.Among other things, he allegedly doused his former wife in lighter fluid and lit her on fire when he was not pleased him. One of his daughters requested and were granted further protected identity to escape the father. None of this prevented, however, that he was granted Swedish citizenship.
