Lab Grown Meat is Coming

The guys seen here are developing meat grown in a lab from a single sample of animal matter. They’re claiming there is no soy or GMO in these products also.

From what I can gather what they’re doing is similar to the process we use to grow bananas. If you’re not familiar with the methods used in banana farming, it goes like this:

Quite some time ago a fungus wiped out most of the world’s banana crops, forcing us to start growing a different species of banana. The way we did this was by taking a cutting of a single banana tree and then rooting that cutting to make a new tree, repeating this process indefinitely to get as many banana plants as we needed. Every banana you eat is a clone banana.

Of course, because of that any kind of banana disease will spread much faster than before since there is no real way for some banana plants to be immune to the disease because they are the same as every other banana plant, but that’s another topic.

This lab grown meat thing is going to come no matter what eventually, and it could either be a good thing (at least neutral) or very bad. If we were in a healthy society without corruption in the pharmaceutical and agricultural industry being more common than dirt, this probably wouldn’t have many negatives. Quite a few positives actually, since we could use the huge amounts of land we have dedicated to livestock farming and growing cattle feed to building deathbot and spaceship factories.

Android suicide armies followed by Aryan super soldiers will be the way warfare is conducted in the future.

With our current society, it won’t be long until everything produced is pure poison for people.

Hopefully we can win the culture war before this becomes the norm.
